Is admission to the casino subject to charge?

Admission to the casino is free of charge Monday to Thursday, whereas Friday to Sunday, and on Italian holidays and pre-holidays, the admission fee is € 5. Hotel guests, guests who visit any of the Hit Casinos for the first time, and Privilege club members (must have an active card, which means at least 1 point collected through play) have free admission to the casino.

Who can enter the casino?

Only persons above legal age (18 years) are admitted upon submission of a passport, identity card, or driving licence.

Are persons under age (under 18 years) allowed to enter the casino, if accompanied by their parents?

No, they are not allowed to. According to the legislation in force in the Republic of Slovenia, persons under age are not allowed to enter under any circumstances, not even if they are accompanied by their parents.

I have been given a ban on entering the casino. What happens now?

The casino reserves the right to issue players or visitors who breach the game rules or casino house rules a ban on entering the casino. The ban is issued by the casino personnel, and its duration depends on the severity of the breach. Bans issued for minor breaches may be short-term (one month to one year), for major breaches they are longer-term (a few years), and in case of severe breaches (e.g. fraud attempts at play) the ban may be lifelong. A guest, who has been banned from entering the casino, may file a written request through a special form or a letter addressed to the casino management for the ban to be lifted. The casino management shall examine each case and either comply with or deny the request.

What are the hours of operation of the casino?

The casino is open 24 hours throughout the year.

What is the Privilege Club and how do I acquire membership?

The Privilege Club is a loyalty club established by the Hit Casinos aimed to award their guests.
Upon your visit stop by the Privilege Point and fill out the club membership form.

Do I have to pay to watch the entertainment programme in the Arena hall?

Most of the entertainment programmers running in the Arena are free of charge for casino guests. Some other extraordinary events are however subject to admission fee. The sale of admission tickets starts approximately one month prior to the event. The admission tickets can be purchased at the Privilege Point.

Where can I park my car?

The Perla features a garage with 320 parking lots. It is free of charge for hotel and casino guests. There are also some parking spaces in Perla’s surroundings. Some of them are subject to payment Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Is the casino located near the hotel?

The casino featuring gaming tables and slot machines is located inside the gaming and entertainment centre. The same goes for the hotel.

Can children enter the swimming pool?

Children 1 to 14 years of age are admitted to the swimming pool in the Perla Spa until 3pm, only if accompanied by their parents.

Which payment cards are accepted in the hotel and which in the casino?

The hotel/restaurant/ spa accept all payment cards.
The casino accepts all credit cards, except American Express.

When can I access my room and by what time do I have to vacate it?

The rooms are rented from 2pm on the day of arrival to 11am on the day of departure.

Do I need to book a table in the self-service restaurant?

There is no need to book a table in the self-service restaurant.

Are persons under age allowed into the restaurants located inside the casino?

Persons under age cannot access the restaurants that are located inside the casino.

What kind of clothes can I wear?

There is no dress code. However, neat clothing is recommended. Shorts, flip-flops, and sportswear are not welcome.

What do I need to enter?

You need to register at the casino reception with a valid ID (passport, identity card, or driving licence) before entering the casino. You will not be allowed to enter the casino with an invalid ID or a copy of your ID.

What are the methods of payment in the casino?

The following payment cards are accepted: VISA, DINERS, and EUROCARD-MASTERCARD. All main currencies are also accepted at current exchange rates.

Can I self-exclude myself from entering the casino?

Yes. Each guest has the possibility to join the casino self-exclusion scheme. In order to be self-excluded, you need to supply in person to a person in charge at the casino (usually the staff at the gaming tables or slot machines) proof of identity and fill out a statutory form, where you need to indicate the desired duration of your self-exclusion (6 months to 3 years). This form is then submitted to the Gaming Supervision Division of a Special Finance Office at the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. The latter informs of the self-exclusion all other casino concessionaires on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. The self-exclusion in the chosen duration is then valid in all casinos in the Republic of Slovenia and may not be terminated early. It shall terminate automatically on the day indicated in the form submitted upon self-exclusion.

When are the gaming tables open?

The gaming tables are open 24 hours throughout the year. The number of operating tables depends on the number of casino guests; on weekday mornings there are fewer than in the evenings and on weekends.

I have lost my Privilege card. What now? What happens with the points on my card?

In case your card gets lost, please inform the personnel at the Privilege Point upon your next visit. You will be returned your card, in case it had been found, or you will be issued a new one. All the points you have collected up to this point will be recorded on your new card.

Can a person under age attend a concert (dance show, some other event) in the Arena?

No, they cannot. The Arena is officially part of the casino; therefore persons under age are not allowed into the hall and watch the programme as part of the audience.

Are dogs allowed into the hotel and what is the surcharge?

Dogs are not allowed.

Is there a car park next to the hotel?

Hotel guests can park their car in the complimentary car park.
